I went cherry picking for the first time ever! It was one of the hottest days, the pickings were slim, but I did it. What a rewarding experience.
I used a store bought plant based pastry dough – best thing I ever bought. After putting the cherries (great therapy), I cut one peach – combined it was about 13 ounces of cherries and peach. Added swerve brown sugar, and crystal sugar, vanilla, cinnamon, xanthin gum as binder. Rolled out dough round, place heaping amount of mixture in center, wrapped outside all around, pinching to seal.
